Here is a movement practice for your core and spine that will help you in all the ways you like to move. Whether you’re a yogi, an athlete or a couch potato, all good movement comes from the inside out (proximal to distal for you anatomy lovers). Moving from your centre will help you move better with ease, stay pain-free and build greater complexity on top of a solid base of support from your core.
The approach in this video covers three basic principles for deepening the connection with your core:
- Dynamic Three Dimensional Breathing
- The “Big Three” most important core exercises
- Awakening the Intelligence of the Spine
Through understanding and practicing these three principles, you will be creating a “home base” of movement that you can build on for greater strength, mobility, control and grace. All the ways you like to move will be enhanced and deepened. My hope is that it brings you greater ease and freedom in your life.
