Morning Pages: Journaling Exercise
Writing is a wonderful practice to help us integrate our thoughts and feelings into useful medicine and stimulate our creative energy. Author Julia Cameron talks about a practice she calls "Morning Pages", which is essentially 3 pages about whatever is on your mind.
Throughout this course we will give you different prompts to inspire your journaling.
On the Day 1 we'll be exploring a practice for the energy of the "East", the Wood Element, the Liver and Gallbladder Organs and energy of inspiration.
For the first day, please use the follow writing prompt:
"What is my inspiration for taking the Art of Rest Course and learning these skills for myself? For others?"
Write 3 pages freely, and unedited.

Some of you have special yoga practice props at home which will be helpful but the course is designed for you to be able to use regular household things like pillows and blankets from your home. It will be helpful but not mandatory to have:
